Thumbd Launches
From Darren of Blog Republic comes the news that the latest social bookmarking/news rating service, thumbd, has launched:
Okay, it doesn’t quite have the impact of being Dugg or being added to del.icio.us, but the web’s newest social bookmarking/news ratings service thumbd.net is up and running. The website offers a way to give a “thumbs up†to the best content on the web.
Yes, this was a whim to see if I could get people involved in a new collaborative project to help build an open source social networking website/script that could be free for all to use, and to make a website that could try to uphold some of the better ideas of “Web 2.0″ before they all fall off the face of the earth.
