What I find more disturbing is how Google keep strack of all your searches, and links to your gmail account. I often have to log myself out when searching, which makes it difficult to keep my gmail open.

Really? They really are watching you then. Its something of more concern to you since you value your anonymity so much. Perhaps you should do like i do and never log into gmail - i always prefer to use gmail via thunderbird along with my other accounts
