Melissa Whitworth - A Terrible Misunderstanding
Melissa Whitworth, the journalist behind the claims of copying a bloggers post for the telegraph has explained it was all A Terrible Misunderstanding:
I forwarded it to my boss at the Telegraphs website because I thought he would find it funny. Unfortunately somewhere along the line it was mistaken for my latest posting and published. It was not my latest posting. It has now been taken down from the Telegraph’s website as a result.
While the chain of events is plausible with the speed of events that electronic communications can move at and cock up at, it just seems a little odd never the less!
